about

The 50th ambient drone album!
One continuous drone split into nine parts.
5+ hours of deeply atmospheric ambient music.

I enjoy music that is long and slow, that I can fully immerse into. These drones were an attempt to make music that would fill a space and could be left to play for hours on end. To me, that is what ambient music is - creating a space around the listener.

Creating these drones is a real pleasure for me. It has been an added joy that others have enjoyed listening too.

For the more eagle-eyed listener, while this officially the 50th drone album, I contributed a track to the Free Floating Music compilation Reflection (freefloatingmusic.bandcamp.com/track/sunflowers-and-soundwaves) and a session for Bing Satellites Mostly Ambient Radio Show (billbaxter.bandcamp.com/album/songs-of-love-mostly-ambient-radio-session-16-july-2016).

Many thanks to everyone for listening and for your support. Here's looking forward to album 100!
